Hi! As many of you have noticed, the group has been quite inactive for a while. I've decided to move on from DeviantART as a whole, and will no longer be active. I might hand over ownership to someone else and they can find new admins, etc. I've created 5 new folders, and this is all I'm leaving here. It was nice working with you all for the past 5 years or so, hoping someone else can carry on this group. :)

I wanted to start off by saying—I am getting older, I do not have as much freetime as I used to so I'm not online every single day. The folders get full and by commenting or spam noting the group about, it will not resolve it immediately, please stop flooding the comments + group notes with messages that the folders are full, I will see it when I get online and I'm sure there are other groups you can submit to for the time being. I am looking for admins to help resolve these issues faster.
NOTE: Applying as an admin for this group is going to be a lot of work, there are 23,000 members and you have to cater to their needs by keeping the group active + running as well (contests, giveaways, etc). You will need to be active on this website often.
Requirements:
  • Be active at least once a week to check group messages
  • Interact with the founder for group matters (not required, but encouraged)
  • You must have social skills, you will be interacting with tons of people here
  • Be able to organize deviations in the folders
  • Participate in directing a group event at least once
  • Respond to group notes/comments appropriately
  • Create new folders when the current one is full
  • (NOT REQUIRED BUT PREFERRED) Show me proof that you have experience in leading a group / an older deviant (preferably 2+ years)
Your admin privileges will be revoked if I see you acting inappropriately or if you screw with anything in the group settings, I expect to be working with mature and responsible people. If you are short-tempered, I recommend not applying for this position. More information will be available once you get the position.
How to Apply: There's not a form, but please comment if you're interested and tell me about any experiences you've had with groups before.
Deadline: There will not be a deadline this time, just whenever I feel like I have enough admins. Feel free to apply if you'd like, I will be reading everyone's applications, I look forward to working with you and thank you for your cooperation.

Hey everyone! How are you all doing? Introducing TLDR at the bottom!
I wanted to make a journal to let you know that gallery submissions will no longer be monitored. By this I mean, you don't have to wait for your artwork to be reviewed. I will still have the 'Digital Art,' 'Traditional Art,' etc. folders, but I'm going to trust you guys to sort them correctly. (I know that won't work because no one listens lol)
But hopefully in a couple of months I will have some admins selected and they can help me out with new gallery arrangements and a new contest! Please give me a couple of days to get the group back in order, thanks!
I'm going to be deleting the current folders and making new ones, still deciding whether or not to bring back the 1, 2, 3, etc. type of folder sorting.

Hello everyone! I'm sorry for the pause in accepting deviations, replying to notes, etc—, but I was on hiatus. I wasn't aware the the other admins had also stopped accepting deviations and practically doing anything. I understand we all have our own lives to tend to so if they're reading this, I'm not trying to be rude!
Anyways, I'll be looking for 5 new admins!
